We award the Loren Edward Tillett Jr. Endowed Scholarship in Seminary Studies each year to a philosophy major concentrating in pre-seminary studies.
Scholarships at CNU
Christopher Newport awards numerous scholarships to students through funds established by the generosity of donors, as well as from funds raised directly by the institution.
Generally, scholarships are reserved for students with special qualifications, such as exceptional academic or artistic talent. Awards are also available to students who are interested in a particular field of study, who are members of underrepresented groups, who live in certain areas of the country or who demonstrate financial need.
