Department of Theater and Dance

Entrance and Scholarship Auditions

Due to growing popularity, reputation and demand, an audition is now required for admission to the acting and musical theater concentrations in the Department of Theater and Dance. In addition to consideration for admittance to these concentrations, these auditions will also serve for consideration for all available performance-based theater scholarships. To schedule an audition, prospective students should apply for admission to Christopher Newport University and fill out a separate audition date request form with the Department of Theater and Dance.
