We celebrate Shakespeare’s birth by presenting this magical, miraculous adventure of Pericles, Prince of Tyre. The prince travels the sea looking for his princess and encounters riddles, tournaments, pirates, storms, shipwrecks and love. Along the way he becomes a hero, the hunted, a husband and a father. He entrusts his daughter, Marina, to old friends who raise her as their own. But Marina’s surrogate mother becomes envious of her ward. A plot to murder Marina unfolds. When the plot is foiled by pirates, Marina’s own adventure begins. Enjoy this dark comic classic full of twists and turns and harrowing escapes.
