Through our Group Visit Program prospective middle and high school students will become familiar with CNU through an information session provided by current CNU students and a campus tour provided by CNU Student Ambassadors (about 2 hours total). Elementary school students will receive a tour only. Please review the following information carefully prior to scheduling a Group Visit.
Accommodations for Group Visits are limited; tours are scheduled Monday through Friday on a first-come, first-served basis. Group Visits are not available Saturday or Sunday. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Groups are still welcome on campus, however, no formal presentation or tour can be provided through the Admissions Office on these days.
Requests for Group Visits must be received at least 2 weeks prior to your desired visit date. Your tour is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation notice that includes your tour date, time and other pertinent information. Groups that do not show up for a scheduled tour or that cancel less than 72 hours prior to their scheduled visit will have future requests reviewed; if more than 2 of these failures to attend/cancellations occur, at our discretion, tours will not be scheduled for the group for at least one calendar year.
There should be at least 1 chaperone for every 10 students visiting. Chaperones are expected to review the Group Visit Ground Rules with students before they arrive as well as play an active role in maintaining student compliance with those rules during the visit.
We look forward to welcoming your group to the CNU campus. A representative from the Office of Admission will follow up with your request with a reservation confirmation, directions and parking information, Group Visit Ground Rules, and other pertinent information. If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call Kimberly Macklin at (757) 594-0725.
Note: CNU will be closed on July 4 and on Fridays and Saturdays in July. Group Visits will not be offered on those days.
All Residential Dining Halls are closed during the summer. Please contact Niecy Hicks at (757) 594-7257 ahead of time for further details and arrangements for eating on campus.
