Classroom Assessment Techniques (CAT) are informal strategies used by faculty to assess formative stages of learning. They can also be developed into program-level assessments with a bit of coordination among faculty.
The following links are related to a Classroom Assessment Techniques seminar held in Fall 2006, which was co-sponsored by the Office of Assessment (OA) and Teaching and Academic Support Center (TASC) when Deb Moore was Director of OA at the University of Kentucky. Kathryn Cunningham was a CELT Consultant of TASC.
