Senator Guajardo moved (and Senator Brunke seconded) a motion to establish a Senate committee to examine costs, revenue, and efficiencies at CNU, particularly in matters pertaining to the curriculum. After some discussion, the motion was withdrawn.
Senator Brunke moved (and Senator Mollick seconded) a motion to charge the UCC to examine costs, efficiencies, and possible savings to be found by reorganizing elements of the curriculum. After some discussion, the motion was withdrawn.
After more discussion, the Senate opted to wait to hear from the Provost on the ATF’s mission and other details regarding its operation before deciding how best to involve faculty in the process of reorganizing elements of the curriculum.
