#1 Plant Propagation
9 - 9:45 a.m.

Plant propagation is the process of multiplying the numbers of a species, perpetuating a species or maintaining the youthfulness of a plant. During this overview presentation, learn about the process of creating new annual and perennial plants from a variety of sources such as seed, cuttings, layering and division while increasing your gardening enjoyment and success. An optional hands-on workshop (preregistration required) is offered after lunch.
Presenter: Bob Goodhart

#2 Enjoying Ferns in Your Landscape
10:15 - 11:15 a.m.

The Greater Hampton Roads area is a great location to grow ferns in your landscape. There are many native, non-native, evergreen, deciduous, short, tall, deep green ferns — all wonderful design features that contribute to a landscape. They can serve as focal points in the landscape as well as provide filler among other woody ornamentals. Learn how these versatile and handsome plants can be designed into your landscape for your enjoyment.
Presenter: Jim Orband
