Pay and Holiday Schedule

In order to earn a holiday, the employee must work or have accrued leave to cover the day before and any portion of the day after the holiday.

  • New Year's Day - January 2
  • Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
  • Independence Day - July 4
  • Labor Day - First Monday in September
  • Thanksgiving Day - Fourth Thursday in November
  • The day after Thanksgiving
  • December 24
  • Christmas Day - December 25
  • December 31

(The following holidays are utilized by all employees at CNU during the December break; Lee-Jackson Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Columbus Day and Veterans' Day.)
