After Hours and Weekend Care

Nurse advice and medical resource services are available 24/7. Simply call (757) 594–2000 and ask to speak to the Riverside Nurse. Riverside Health System provides this service to the local community, and uses advanced telephone triage protocols in order to help you access the appropriate medical care.

Students are responsible for keeping and dispensing their own medication(s), including injections. Health and Wellness Services does not store prescription medicines or controlled substances. There are several pharmacies near campus where prescriptions can be transferred.
