Christopher Newport University is included in Princeton Review’s 2018 edition of “The Best 382 Colleges” guide for students and parents. Only 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges receive this distinction each year.

“Our undergraduate experience is based on a rigorous academic curriculum that offers great teaching and small classes with an emphasis on leadership, civic engagement and honor,” says President Paul Trible. “Yet again, Princeton Review has identified Christopher Newport as one of the very best colleges in America.”

In addition to the distinction of being a Princeton Review 2018 Best College, Christopher Newport was also ranked 10th for Best College Dorms, 15th for Most Engaged in Community Service and 20th for the Best College Theater.

Princeton Review’s rankings of the Best 382 Colleges are primarily based on surveys of hundreds of administrators at several hundred four-year colleges, over 137,000 surveys from students attending the colleges and rating scores in several categories compiled from institutional data from the 2016-17 year.

“The Best 382 Colleges” is the 26th annual edition and includes profiles of their selected colleges. School profiles and more information about the rankings can be found at the link below.
