Christopher Newport University's Board of Visitors will meet on April 27, 2018, in the David Student Union, at 12:30 p.m., to set the 2018-19 tuition and fee schedule for all in-state and out-of-state undergraduate and graduate students.
As required by Virginia code section 23.1-307(d), the Board of Visitors will consider increasing tuition and fees between 6 and 10 percent. The additional funds are required to operate new facilities, fund compensation and healthcare increases and support student financial aid. This range is due to the absence of a state budget and an inability to predict state funding.
