Christopher Newport University will conduct a test all of its emergency notification systems, including all messaging systems and outdoor sirens on Thursday, October 18, at 10:45 a.m.
Residents should not be alarmed. This is a standard test.
Christopher Newport is a Certified Crime Prevention Campus, a designation by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services for implementing campus safety strategies as a part of a comprehensive community effort to keep our students, faculty and staff.
