Christopher Newport University’s Ferguson Center for the Arts Announces its 2010-2011 5th Anniversary Season

(Newport News, Va.) - Broadway hits, major orchestras, world-famous performing artists and diverse family entertainment will comprise CNU’s Ferguson Center for the Arts 2010-2011 5th Anniversary Season.

Highlights include Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons, Blue Man Group, Monty Python’s Spamalot, Kris Kristofferson,  Mannheim Steamroller Christmas, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis and The Oak Ridge Boys Christmas.  From the BBC Concert Orchestra with conductor Keith Lockhart to a host of legendary performers including Merle Haggard, Dionne Warwick, The Irish Rovers, Marvin Hamlisch and Tim Conway, the Ferguson Center 5th Anniversary Season has something for everyone.

Subscription & Single Ticket Information
 
Subscription forms can be downloaded at www.fergusoncenter.org.  Forms can be brought to the Ferguson Center Ticket Office starting Monday, May 31.  Special ticket office hours on May 31 are 10a.m. - 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.  Subscription forms may also be mailed to: Ferguson Center Ticket Office, Christopher Newport University, 1 University Place, Newport News, Va. 23606.  
 
Single tickets to all performances will be available for purchase Monday, July 12 at the Ferguson Center Ticket Office, www.ticketmaster.com and at all Ticketmaster outlets.  For information, call the Ticket Office at (757) 594.8752 between 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Thursday (summer hours) or sign up for the Ferguson Center E-Club online at fergusoncenter.org for announcements, special offers and the opportunity to purchase tickets and subscriptions prior to the general public.  
 
Bravo Series:
Includes the BBC Concert Orchestra, Opole, Philharmonic of Poland and the Russian National Ballet’s Romeo & Juliet. Bravo Series subscribers save $45 off single ticket prices.
 
Broadway Series:
Includes Forever Plaid, Wizard of Oz and Monty Python’s Spamalot. Subscribers save $30 off single ticket prices. 
 
Broadway Plus:
Add Blue Man Group and receive $5 off per Blue Man Group ticket, plus a $25 voucher toward the  purchase of an additional performance (Wizard of Oz, Spamalot, Blue Man Group and Handel’s Messiah Rocks not included in this offer).

Ferguson Flex Pass:
Save $5 per ticket when choosing any four or more shows.
