Luter School Welcomes Joe Pombriant, President and CEO of Alacrity Financial

(Newport News, VA) - Joe PombriantThe Visiting Executive Program of the Joseph W. Luter, III School of Business welcomes Joe Pombriant, CNU alumnus and president and CEO of Alacrity Financial. The program provides an opportunity for a CEO to spend time interacting with faculty and students of the Christopher Newport University. The executive also meets with student leaders, lectures in several classes and has an opportunity to meet area business executives who serve on the school’s advisory board.

President and CEO of Alacrity Financial, Joe Pombriant is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, New Hampshire. Shortly after graduating in 1999 with a B.A. in Economics from Christopher Newport University, he moved to New York and founded Alacrity Financial. Now serving more than 150 clients, Alacrity Financial helps individuals, families, and business owners mitigate the consequences of financial threats.

Pombriant will share his story of entrepreneurial success and leadership with students, faculty, staff and area business leaders on November 17and 18, 2010.
