CNU Ranked by U.S. News & World Report

CNU Campus(Newport News, Va.) — Christopher Newport University has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the No. 6 up-and-coming regional university in the South.

In its 2012 "Up-and-Comers" ranking, U.S. News ranked CNU among the top 46 colleges and universities in the nation "that have recently made the most promising and innovative changes in the areas of academics, faculty, student life, campus or facilities," as recommended in a survey of top college administrators.

The rankings were based on responses from experts who responded to an annual peer assessment of educational institutions, according to the magazine.
