CNU to Host Model Arab League High School Conference

(Newport News, Va.) -

The Christopher Newport University Model Arab League Club invites high school students and CNU students to participate in its first annual Model Arab League High School Conference March 16-17. Registration is required at
http://www.ncusar.org/modelarableague/hsregionals/hsvirginia.html.

Students will represent one of the Arab League's 22 member states and discuss political, social and defense affairs. They will learn about the Middle East, Arab politics and will also have the opportunity to sample Middle Eastern cuisine. Model Arab League helps prepare students to be knowledgeable, well-trained, and effective citizens as well as civic and public affairs leaders.
