Ferguson Center for the Arts Announces 2012-13 Season
(Newport News, VA) -Broadway blockbusters, world-famous performing artists and diverse family entertainment will comprise CNU’s Ferguson Center for the Arts 2012-2013 Season.
Highlights include exclusive Hampton Roads’ performances by superstar entertainers including Liza Minnelli, Travis Tritt, William Shatner, Smokey Robinson, Sinbad, Dave Koz, Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris and comedienne Wanda Sykes.
Broadway takes center stage this season with national tour performances of A Chorus Line, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Dreamgirls, and Nunset Boulevard: The Nunsense Hollywood Bowl Show!
From the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra with Anne Hampton Calloway and conductor Keith Lockhart to a host of acclaimed performers and productions including Dr. John & The Blind Boys of Alabama, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Boz Scaggs, and The Irish Tenors Christmas and Hits the Ferguson Center’s 8th season has something for everyone! Single tickets to all performances will be available for purchase on Wednesday, July 18, 10:00 a.m., at the Ferguson Center Ticket Office, www.fergusoncenter.org or by calling toll-free (855) FERG-TIX. For information, call the Ticket Office at (757) 594.8752 between 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Monday - Thursday (summer hours) or sign up for the Ferguson Center E-Club online at www.fergusoncenter.org for announcements, special offers and the opportunity to purchase tickets and subscriptions prior to the general public.
