    • Principal Investigator, Investigating how computer games increase motivation for at risk fourth graders (NASA funded), 2000-2001.
    • Director, NASA funded and run, Teacher Enhancement Institute, 1994-1995 summer workshop for K-8 teacher to learn to use technology and aeronautics in the classroom.
    • Director, Science of Living Spaces, 1995, (NSF funded). Summer residential camp for middle school girls to do hands on science.
    • Technology coordinator for Eisenhower grant for teachers and principals, 1998.
    • CRA mentor for an female undergraduate doing research in computer science (on truth maintenance systems), 1995.
  • Current Science Education Experience

    Computer Science Unpugged++ project leader. Part of a global team to promote kinesthetic, computational thinking and computer science by expanding the Computer Science Unplugged project promoted by ACMs Model K12 Curriculum and translated into Spanish, Russian, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, French, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Urdu.
