Biography

April Cobos currently teaches rhetoric and professional writing, language and discourse, and grant writing for civic engagement and community engaged learning. She recently published a book manuscript through Rowman and Littlefield Books on the rhetoric and discourse considerations related to women's combat related military service. Her other recent publications include book chapters and articles on online learning considerations for military affiliated learners, teaching international and non-native English speakers, graduate student labor in a hybrid doctoral program, and the rhetorical considerations of teaching grant writing to undergraduate students.
