Teaching

Dr. Jelinek's passion for her research fuels her enthusiasm for teaching both philosophy classes and Honors seminars. She has won several awards for her teaching, including the Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Research

Dr. Jelinek received her BA from Wellesley College and her PhD from Duke University. Her research explores the intersection of science, epistemology, and metaphysics in Plato's natural philosophy, and her work has appeared in journals such as Apeiron and History of Philosophy Quarterly.
