Biography
Dr. Cheney received a D.SC. in Engineering Management from George Washington University, a M.S. in Applied Physics and Computer Science from Christopher Newport University, and a B.S. in Mathematics, Secondary Education, and Psychology from Grove City College.He has taught for over 17 years at Christopher Newport University and George Washington University including courses in Management Science, Modeling and Simulation, Network Communications, Discrete Mathematics, Programming in Java and Python, Digital Logic Design, Engineering Finance and Systems Engineering.
He has 30 years of experience as a Program Manager, Technical Manager, Systems Architect and Systems Engineer with Peraton Inc., Northrop Grumman, Inter-National Research Institute, and 3-G International, Inc. He has extensive experience in Data Management and Data Transformation involved predominantly with Department of Defense Financial, Procurement, Travel, Personnel, Logistics, and Command and Control Systems.
