Biography
Dr. Matt Morena joined the faculty of Christopher Newport University in 2017 having previously earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire. His research explores applications of nonlinear dynamics and chaos theory with the goal to explain various perplexing scientific phenomena. He has also earned master's degrees in Mathematics from the University of Virginia and in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University, as well as a B.S. in Mathematics from Washington and Lee University. Prior to joining CNU, Dr. Morena taught at Young Harris College.
