Biography
Patricia S. Seuchie holds degrees from the Université de Yaoundé and The Pennsylvania State University. Trained to teach French, her fields of interest range from Twentieth and Twenty-first Century Literature and Culture of French Expression to Postcolonial Studies and Literary Theory. She has presented papers at national and international meetings on the questions of identity, culture, gender and human rights with a connection to hexagonal France and the (former) French colonies, including Sub-Sahara Africa, North Africa and the Caribbean. As a result of that, she has published book chapters, and other scholarship work (book reviews, articles) in top tier journals. She currently teaches French Language, Francophone Literature and Culture at Christopher Newport University.
