A classical archaeologist educated in Italy, Israel, and the US (Ph.D. University of Virginia). She has excavated at Tel Dor (Israel), Binchester (UK), and has co-directed the excavation of the Catacombs of Santa Lucia in Syracuse (Sicily). She is a fellow of the Albright Institute of Jerusalem. Her latest book: Material Culture and Cultural Identity: A Study of Greek and Roman Coins from Dora was published by British Archaeological Review.
