Research
Following six months as a TELF Fulbright to Tajikistan (2016), with teacher workshops in Nepal, Wheeler has turned her research interests toward teaching writing in developing nations. This complements 20 years of research and publication in teaching Standard English in urban classrooms.
Biography
Fulbright Scholar to Tajikistan (2016), English Language Specialist to Nepal (2017) through the U. S. Department of State. She is working to develop teacher training in the teaching of writing in developing nations.
