Biography
TANYA SWEET is Theater CNU’s Technical Director. Off-Broadway credits include Visions in the Funhouse (Lincoln Center, Clark Studio Theatre), Dahling! (Grove Street Playhouse) and Marisol (Sanford Meisner Theatre). Regional credits include Bus Stop, The Lion in Winter, Proof (Krannert Center) and Lincoln The Theatrical Experience (Lincoln Amphitheater). For eight seasons Ms. Sweet served as the Technical Director for Hope Summer Repertory Theater in Holland, Michigan. At CNU Ms. Sweet has technical directed upwards of fifty shows as well as designing scenery for many. Favorite designs at CNU are Triumph of Love and Dancing at Lughnasa. She served the Public Education Foundation in Evansville, Indiana as their associate-designer for eight seasons and for three seasons as their Scene Designer/Technical Director. She has stage management training from the late great Ron Beebe.
