Teaching

I enjoying teaching principles and econometrics. In class, I try to emphasize economic methods which can be directly applied in my students lives.

Research

I am broadly interested in labor and macroeconomics. My skill set includes the use of statistical methodology to analyze large data-sets, as well as computational modeling under a variety of contexts. I excel at organizing information and connecting ideas from multiple lines of research.

I attended college at the University of Chicago where I earned dual degrees in economics and physics. My PhD in economics is from Boston College. I was born in Beijing, China.
