I enjoying teach microeconomics and econometrics. In class, I hope to distill the most important insights from the field and share them with my students. I emphasize economic methods which can be directly applied in my students lives, particularly in the workplace.

My primary field is macroeconomics and like most macroeconomists, I'm interested in understanding the business cycle. More broadly, I'm interested in the role that positive feedback cycles play in the economy.

I am an academic economist broadly interested in macroeconomics. My skill set includes the use of statistical methodology to analyze large data-sets, as well as computational modeling under a variety of contexts. I excel at organizing information and connecting ideas from multiple lines of research.

I attended college at the University of Chicago where I earned dual degrees in economics and physics. My PhD in economics is from Boston College. I was born in Beijing, China.
