Biography

I joined Christopher Newport University in Fall 2022. As an exercise physiologist, I strive to promote the health benefits of physical activity for everyone. In addition, caring about the health and performance in athletes, firefighters, military personnel, etc., I study potential adverse effects of exercise in the scenarios where the exercise is prolonged, performed in the heat, and induces muscle damage.
I am originally from China and have been in the US since I was in graduate school. I am a big sports fan and enjoy watching and playing soccer, tennis and pickleball.
