Summer Conferences
Christopher Newport University facilities and residence halls are available for reservation and overnight accommodation during the summer months (late May to early August). We work with many different types of groups, including professional conferences, academic camps and athletic camps.
One of the many services we offer to summer conference participants is housing. Our residence halls are designed to house groups in mostly single and double occupancy. We also have suites that will accommodate 6-13 people. Towels and bed linens are available upon request at an additional fee and each room is equipped with the following amenities:
- Small refrigerator/freezer with attached microwave
- Bathroom
- Desk
- Bookshelf
- Internet access
All beds are XL twin size.
For conferences with 50 or more participants we can also provide a meal plan for the duration of your conference at one of our dining halls (The Commons and Regattas).
