What a great success! Thanks to our wonderful faculty presenters, Dr. Christopher Loy, Dr. Jessica Thompson and Dr. Kip Redick connections between disciplines and the environment where showcased! Thanks also to the team from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Monitor Sanctuary group for their presentation and identification of common ground for future collaborations!

A successful day of workshops lead by Dr. Robert Porter brought faculty and administrators from CNU, The College of William and Mary, Old Dominion University, Norfolk State University, and VIMS together to learn about developing strong NEH, NSF and NIH proposals. The types of programs offered, the mechanics of building a proposal and when and what to ask a program officer were elements of these information packed sessions. Thanks to all who participated and to Dr. Porter for his insights.
