Setting Sail 2014 has been completed and therefore registration is closed until December, when we will begin registration for the Class of 2019. If you were unable to attend Setting Sail or missed your session, please contact the Orientation Office at 757-594-7767. For transfer students who are looking to register, please explore the Changing Tides segment below.
All first-year students are required to return to campus for one week before classes begin, for our Welcome Week Orientation Program. During Welcome Week, students will continue the transition that began during Setting Sail in June. They will get to meet their core advisor, get to know their residence hall, participate in exploratory workshops, and learn about all of the fun things to do on campus and in the surrounding area. Welcome Week begins with freshman move-in. Please Note: Welcome Week is for first-year students only.
Changing Tides (Transfer Students)

*Students accepted into the President's Leadership Program (PLP) stay longer to participate in Leadership Adventure immediately following Setting Sail. Students in PLP will register for Session 1 OR Session 3 so they can participate in Summer Leadership Adventure Program (SLAP). PLP students will be automatically registered for SLAP once they have registered for their Setting Sail dates:
Session 1 SLAP: Tues, 6/2015 - Fri, 6/2015 (Dates TBA)
Session 3 SLAP: Tues, 6/2015 - Fri, 6/2015 (Dates TBA)
Parents are invited to participate in Setting Sail or Changing Tides as we have a parent program designed specifically for YOU! Meet with our deans, faculty and other staff to hear about how CNU will support you and your student. Enjoy spending time on our campus and getting all of your questions answered. Note: There are no parent programs during Leadership Adventure (for PLP students) or Welcome Week.
