Sustainability in Academics
Christopher Newport is committed to integrating sustainability concepts into our academic programs through the pursuit of the following:
- Support sustainable education within the academic curriculum. We offer dozens of classes that cover sustainability topics, in science, business, economics, history and writing.
- Work with students and faculty on internships, fellowships, special projects, and courses that support issues of sustainability and climate policy/ science
- Encourage and support research and education that supports sustainability principals and climate neutrality
