PK-12 Teaching Experience:
Eighteen years of experience teaching social studies (psychology, sociology, business studies, IB® Theory of Knowledge, and various fields of history) in an American independent school, an international school, and a Virginia public high school.  Have taught at the regular and AP® and IB® levels.  Hold a current 6 – 12 Virginia license with endorsements in History and Social Science, Language Arts, and k-12 Administration.

Research Interests:
The social and religious history of Italy in the late Middle Ages, channels of transmission of religious ideas, conversion, and on the influence of printing on religious belief, international K-12 education, development of international and global perspectives in K-12 social studies, and on fostering creativity through school environments and instructional strategies.
