The Ferguson Center for the Arts provides a state-of-the-art training venue for university students and stellar year-round main stage performance spaces. Designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and completed in 2004, the Center's acoustically-superb theaters include the 440-seat Music and Theatre Hall, 200-seat Black Box Studio Theater and the stunning 1,700-seat Concert Hall.
On September 1, 2004, living legend Tony Bennett opened the Music and Theatre Hall and remarked: "They just don't make theaters like this anymore!" Bennett and many other top artists since have commented on the venue's acoustic superiority. Since its opening, the Center has presented the finest cultural attractions from around the world to more than one million patrons.
In addition to performance spaces, the Ferguson Center boasts rehearsal halls, a dance studio, full scenery, prop and costume shops, art studios, a dedicated art gallery, music practice rooms, educational classrooms and learning spaces.
