Christopher Newport professors are passionate about teaching. Nearly 90 percent of faculty have a PhD or the highest degree in their fields, and include Fulbright Scholars, NASA Public Service Award winners, playwrights and actors, lawyers, business owners, and more.

More than half of classes have 19 or fewer students, creating an intellectually stimulating environment that gives you direct access to experts – teacher-scholars who provide outstanding instruction, conduct groundbreaking research alongside their students, and publish scholarly books and articles.
