Department of Theater and Dance

Entrance and Scholarship Auditions

Due to growing popularity, reputation and demand, an audition is now required for admission to the acting and musical theater concentrations. In addition to consideration for admission to these concentrations, these auditions will also serve for consideration for all available performance-based theater scholarships. To schedule an audition, prospective students must apply for admission to Christopher Newport, and then fill out an audition request form with the Department of Theater and Dance.

Registration for auditions is now closed. New dates will be announced in the fall.
