General Auditions

TheaterCNU maintains an open casting policy for mainstage and second stage productions. All students, faculty, staff and Hampton Roads community members are welcome to audition. All acting and music-theater concentration students are required to audition. All auditions and call backs will take place in the Ferguson Center Rehearsal Hall.

Each participant must prepare:

  • One 60-second contemporary monologue
  • 32-bars from contemporary musical theater that show your acting/singing range

Roles to be cast: Olive Ostrovsky, William Morris Barfee, Marcy, Leaf Coneybear, Charlito “Chip” Tolentino

"Dr. Frankenstein"
Wednesday, April 15, 7-11 p.m
Roles to be cast: Victoria, Henry, Creature, Father

*Please note the Creature appears shirtless, and those called back for this role may be requested to remove their shirt.

Scripts will be available in the theater office. An audition time sheet is posted on the callboard by the Rehearsal Hall.
