“Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd…” Stephen Sondheim’s darkly comedic tale of love, obsession and revenge. Benjamin Barker, aka Sweeney Todd, returns to London after being wrongly exiled and engages in a murderous rampage as he seeks revenge against the judge who sent him away. Sweeney is joined by the devilishly pragmatic Mrs. Lovett, who hates to see good meat go to waste, especially when business is bad. Winner of eight Tonys, including Best Musical.
