The Arts

Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center

Be Inspired through the power and beauty of the visual arts at the magnificent Mary M. Torggler Fine Arts Center! The Torggler houses the Department of Fine Art and Art History, galleries for world-class exhibitions by major artists as well as Christopher Newport alumni and members of the community, and classrooms for public art classes, workshops and camps for all ages. Admission to the Torggler is free for the public, and your generous donation helps to ensure inspiring exhibitions are accessible for all to enjoy.

Your commitment also elevates the quality of life in Hampton Roads, plays a key role in our ability to present engaging exhibitions and innovative programs that ignite imaginations - and gives you exclusive benefits!

With a variety of giving levels and benefits, the Patron of the Arts program and Benefactors Society, we encourage all members of our community to find the level of participation that works best for your family, business and life.
