Bloomberg Names Luter School One of America’s 100 Best Undergraduate Business Schools

Read time:

The undergraduate program at the Joseph W. Luter, III School of Business has been included in the 2016 Bloomberg Businessweek Best Undergraduate Business Schools rankings. The program is ranked No. 93 among all undergraduate business schools.

The Bloomberg Businessweek rankings aim to measure the outcome most students want from business schools, specifically the brightest possible career path. Accordingly, the ranking is primarily built on four key metrics:

  • Feedback from recruiters who hire recent business graduates
  • Students’ own ratings of their campus, career services department, and faculty and administrators
  • Average base compensation of students who had jobs lined up
  • Percentage of a school’s graduates who had at least one internship experience during college

“The reach and reputation of Christopher Newport continues to spread as more and more people appreciate the rigor of our academic programs, the quality of our instruction and facilities, and the intellectual firepower of our students," says President Paul Trible.

Bloomberg Businessweek’s ranking of “The Best Undergraduate Business Schools” is featured on and includes expanded content, the full ranking and methodology.
