Philosophy Alum to Publish Paper

Read time:

Jacqueline Thornley ’13 will have her senior seminar paper in philosophy published by Dialogue, the journal of Phi Sigma Tau, the international philosophy honor society. Her article is titled, “More Than We Can Chew: The True Costs of Agricultural Subsidies.”

“Phi Sigma Tau only selects about seven articles for publication, and is edited by professors in the field,” says Dr. Dawn Hutchinson, assistant professor of philosophy and religious studies. “Jacqueline’s article has been accepted and will be published in the December issue.”

Thornley is currently working in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as a program coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and is pursuing a master’s degree in psychology at Grand Canyon University.
