Teaching

Dr. Riggins teaches a variety of courses in psychology, with emphasis on the following: Abnormal Psychology (Psychopathy), Adult Development and Aging, Educational Psychology, and Statistical Applications in Social Science Research (Psych Stats), among others.

Research

Dr. Riggins' primary areas of research are related to adult attachment (attachment styles & dimensions) and various aspects of personality (inclusive of personality disorders features). Other research areas include aging/ageism and cancel culture.
