The President’s Leadership Program (PLP) is not just an academic program. At heart, we are a community determined to better understand ourselves, how we work with others and the impact we can have in the world.
Through a combination of academic study, experiential learning and personal development, PLP will prepare you for a life of leadership, service and civic responsibility.
Over the course of four years, students in PLP become:
- Actively engaged citizens committed to improving your community
- Women and men of strong character and integrity who embrace personal accountability, meaningful relationships and a strong work ethic
- Effective leaders who successfully combine self-exploration, critical reflection and leadership theory in an ever-changing global society
The PLP has impacted my experience at CNU in many facets; however, I have seen the most personal growth in my community outreach skills. I have been able to establish a strong commitment to volunteer work.
