CNU Day 2024

CNU Day is an annual event where the Christopher Newport community comes together for a single-day fundraiser. Every spring we put out the call to our Captains for all hands on deck to support and celebrate Christopher Newport University.

Online

Give via credit card, bank account, PayPal, or Venmo on March 13 at cnuday.cnu.edu

Phone

If you wish to give over the phone on March 13, call us at (757) 594-7179 and our staff will be glad to assist.

Mail

Checks/money orders made payable to CNUEF with the area of support your gift is for on the memo line. The postmark must be no later than March 13. These can be mailed to:

Company Match

Many companies will match employees’ gifts to the University, increasing their impact or even doubling their value. Check with your employer’s human resource department for more information on whether your company participates.

Absolutely! While we are lifting up our critical scholarships and championship athletic teams, we also care about what is the most important to you.

We welcome gifts to any area of the University and all contributions may be designated to the area or program you love most. 100% of your contribution will go to the area you desire to support.

All gifts made on CNU Day are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

If you give online, you will receive an email receipt of your donation for tax purposes. If you give on the phone or by mail, you will receive a receipt via USPS mail.

Additionally, high participation, especially from our alumni community, is our goal. Christopher Newport continues to rise in national rankings, and alumni giving is a key factor. All gifts improve our programs, grow our reputation and enhance the value of a Christopher Newport degree.
