I received a PhD in Classical Languages from Bryn Mawr College in 2002 and have published articles and encyclopedia entries on ancient epic poetry, cinematic adaptations of ancient literature, and the American classical tradition.

Teaching

Greek and Latin; ancient literature and culture; ancient sport and spectacle; the American classical tradition; and study abroad courses.
