Welcome Home, Captains!
Each year, we look forward to celebrating our Captains during Homecoming. We have much in store for you this year! In honor of the many reasons there are to celebrate being Captains, this year’s Homecoming theme is “Let’s Celebrate”!
Check out the schedule, register for your favorite events and pick up some Homecoming gear!
There will be opportunities to purchase drinks, food, and merchandise throughout the weekend. Please remember to bring your photo ID showing proof of age for any alcohol purchases and a credit card for purchases as a majority of campus is cashless.
Parking
The campus will be full of activities and guests because not only is Homecoming this weekend, but we are also welcoming future Captains to campus for the President's Leadership and Honors Program Visit Day. To make your arrival experience easier, here is information regarding parking:
On Campus
The Visitor Parking Lots and Ferguson Center Parking Deck are available to park in Friday and Saturday. Please view the campus parking map for assistance.
Free Shuttle Service from the Mariners' Museum
On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the City of Newport News Trolley will be providing shuttle service. With pick up and drop offs at the Mariners' Museum parking lot and the crosswalk on North Moores Lane (next to the tailgate lot by the stadium). This is a free service for all of our alumni, family, and friends visiting campus that day. The trolley is air conditioned, heated, and wheelchair accessible.
Rideshare
Please use 72 Shoe Lane, Newport News, VA to navigate to Lot M, the closest parking area located next to the Gregory P. Klich Alumni House for pick up and drop off.
