Homecoming 2024 will have “Let’s Celebrate!” as its theme and that celebration will stretch over four days to every corner of the campus and will include an enormous variety of events.

Thousands of Captains for Life will return to their campus home to meet old friends and revisit the places they remember fondly from their college days. Many of the events, though, are open to anyone, including current students, families and visitors.
This year’s signature events include:
- The Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Dinner, held in conjunction with Homecoming for the first time. It will be Thursday evening, Oct. 17.
- Shoe Lane Lights on Friday, Oct. 18, is a Homecoming tradition. The family-friendly event is free and always popular. Pre-registration, while not required, will speed your entry.
- The Alumni Alley Tailgate Zone opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.
- The football game against Rowan kicks off at 1 p.m. Saturday and the field hockey and women’s soccer teams are also in action over the weekend.
Weekend events will honor the Class of 2013, Class of 2014 and Class of 2015. There will also be reunions for the Class of 2004, the Marching Captains and several other groups.
