Plant Operations
Plant operations is responsible for day-to-day services related to the repair and maintenance of CNU's campus facilities and infrastructure.
You can request any of the following services through our maintenance work order request system:
- Carpentry
- Carpet cleaning
- Construction (light), renovation and restoration work
- Electrical repairs/work
- Heating, ventilation, air conditioning
- Housekeeping
- Keys/locks (excludes Captain's Cards)
- Moving
- Pest control
- Plumbing
- Recycling
- Signage
- Special event setup
- Waste collection and disposal
- Window washing
Grounds
The Grounds Department maintains Christopher Newport’s vibrant and growing 260-acre campus. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service to the campus community and all those who visit, and to making CNU a beautiful and inspiring place.
