Get in shape! Meet new people! Manage stress!

At Christopher Newport, it’s easy to stay active with programs and facilities for various fitness levels - the Trieshmann Health and Fitness Pavilion just got a major upgrade with brand-new, state-of-the-art gym equipment!

Group Fitness offers a great opportunity to engage in Cardio, Strength, Mind/Body, Cycling, and other types of exercises. Everyone is welcome regardless of your skill level. However, if you're looking for something more individualized, goal-specific, and comprehensive...try personal training! Please call or visit the front desk for details.

NOTE: ID is required for all. If you do not have an ID you will not be permitted to enter.

If you’re not sure how to use the equipment, ask Team Fitness! We are here to help you figure out what to do, what machines do what and other basic questions. We wear the black polo shirt (or black pullover). You’ll find us either at the Welcome Desk or wandering around in the Trieshmann Health and Fitness Pavilion.

We also respectfully request to follow our dress code.

Come visit us soon — we look forward to seeing you!
